Gasthaus Restaurant Linde-Locherberg in Oppenau

Like in grandma's time or as a guest at grandma's with delicious, unfortunately out of fashion, dishes and specialties from the region. Nowadays something special that unfortunately is less and less.

We, 3 motorcyclists from the Münsterland, were guests in the house for 7 days at the end of July. Taken almost like family, we were spoiled from breakfast to dinner. There were no wishes left unfulfilled and we would all like to thank the Müller family. We will always remember this beautiful stay in a dreamlike environment and we will definitely come back again. Very good and middle class food. The owners are extremely friendly and you feel good immediately. Food was served hot and was seasonably seasoned. That's how the food must taste!

Classic country inn with rich drinks and menu. Lots of space, reasonable prices, friendly staff and delicious food. However, located directly on the busy B28 and therefore quite loud

Unfussy ok and what the tactics of the owner was keeping us talking about the most common name in Germany that could Peter Muller you quiet half an hour entertaining talk about.

Good and inexpensive guest house as a starting point for motorcycle tours in the Black Forest. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The food is excellent. The owners are nice and take their time for the guests. Can fully recommend it.

Schlecht. Bad. Bad. We have dinner here on the recommendation of the hostess of camping Traiermuhle. The restaurant is diagonally opposite the campsite. The schnitzels that we got were unpaneled, paper thin and not overcooked. The lettuce consisted of half of hard outer leaf and half of ready-made pot salad. The fries were OK. The beer was lukewarm. Operation unfriendly. Never again.

I have visited this guesthouse many times over the last 30 years. Peter and Martha are always very welcoming even if we show up on their day off (Wednesdays I think!). Excellent home cooked and often home grown or even home reared food. Great beer and many locally produced spirits! Recommend asking Peter for some Blutwerz, it's yummy but don't drink to much!!!!! Also I recommend schnitzel mit bratkartoflen!

Very clean rooms, the owners Mr and Mrs Müller are very friendly and accommodating. The food is mMn. wonderful, we could never complain. Always a nice visit! 10/10

Always just perfect. Super nice people and very fair prices. Ideally suited for motorcyclists because apartments and rooms can be rented cheaply and the machines can be placed under the chassis in the dry garage.

Delightful hotel.

Food like grandma's times. That's exactly what you get here. Very hearty and extremely tasty. My wife had meatloaf with fried potatoes and fried egg. I baked fried sausage with fried potatoes and additionally fried egg. As a soup a soup soup. The fried potatoes were first class. More you do not need to be full and satisfied. The only thing that irritated us was the fact that we were the only guests for the best dinner time.
